The Penn State School of Theatre is part of The Pennsylvania State University, located at University Park, PA - right in the middle of the beautiful state of Pennsylvania.

- The University Park campus of Penn State has over 40,000 students
- The Penn State School of Theatre has approximately 250 students including musical theatre students, stage managers, costume designers, sound designers, lighting designers, set designers, theatre students, and graduate students
- Our faculty consist of professional theatre artists who continue to work in their respective creative fields while maintaining a full-time commitment to the professional training of students
- Our productions take place in three different venues - The Playhouse Theatre, The Pavilion Theatre, and the Penn State Downtown Theatre Center
- Every year Penn State graduates are represented as actors, directors, designers, technicians, stage managers, dramaturgs, and teachers in New York productions, regional companies, television series, films, universities and colleges throughout the United States and abroad.
- Our Theatre Arts Production Studio features six air-conditioned studio workshops including a spacious and well-designed costume design shop studio, a millinery studio, a dedicated computer lighting laboratory, a CAD laboratory, a large state-of-the-art equipped scenic shop with adjacent properties shop and scenic paint studio. Additionally, the facility includes a design studio classroom, a large seminar room and a humidity-controlled storage room which houses a 10,000 piece costume and accessory collection.
