B.S. in Music and Theatre from Clarion University. Formerly the Sound Designer for the Meadows School of the Arts at Southern Methodist University.
Regional design credits include Resident Sound Designer at Dallas Theater Center, and guest designs for Denver Center Theater, Clarence Brown Theater, Shakespeare Festival of Dallas, Arkansas Repertory Theater, New York Fringe Festival, Watertower Theater and Seaside Music Theater.
Past Sound Commissioner of USITT and frequent guest lecturer and presenter for festivals, other universities, and training programs.
Selected for exhibition in World Stage Design 2013, Cardiff, Wales; previously won the Gold Medal in Sound Design at World Stage Design, Seoul, South Korea for composition & design work for Pentecost. Won a Leon Rabin Award for Outstanding Sound Design for The Collected Works of Billy the Kid. His recordings with the Grammy award nominated contemporary music ensemble, Voices of Change, include Harold Blumenfeld's song cycle Mythologies. His recording work also accompanies the Garland Press book Walt Whitman and Musical Modernism.
