Stacie Chandler hop-scotched her way across the country before ending up as the School of Theatre’s Student Advisor and Course Coordinator. She loves working with students and faculty to keep their courses, grades, and schedules in order. Drop by her desk to check out an array of toys and stuffed animals.
A New York native, she grew up in Princeton, NJ. After graduating from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL with a degree in journalism, she married her college sweetheart, Curt, and moved to Pueblo, CO. Since then her family has lived in Ogden, UT; Cleveland Heights, OH; and Pittsburgh, PA.
Along the way Stacie has had many jobs: newspaper editor, picture framer, newspaper promotions assistant director, Newspapers in Education director, communications director for a non-profit; legal assistant; and bookseller.
As they moved across the country, Stacie and Curt acquired four special souvenirs: Toby from Colorado, Molly from Utah, and Vince and Madeline from Ohio. Growing up, the entire family was active in Boy and Girl Scouts and avid ice hockey players. A favorite family past-time was purchasing beautiful old houses that needed vision and a lot of hard work and turning them into welcoming homes filled with love and laughter.
