Penn State Musical Theatre Class of 2020

Nick Case

Nick Case is so excited to be joining the Penn State family! He is transferring from NYU Steinhardt, where he spent two years. Previous shows: Big River, Gypsy (both at Sharon Playhouse), and A Little Night Music (NYU), among others. He can be found either in class or napping, occasionally both.

 
Nick Davis

Nicholas Davis’ professional credits in the Boston area include: Sweet Charity, ...Forum, How to Succeed... (Stoneham Theatre); Hairspray (Wheelock Family Theatre – Eliot Norton Award); Musical of Musicals: The Musical (Moonbox Productions – Eliot Norton/IRNE nominations); Carousel, Me and My Girl, Fiddler on the Roof, Singin' in the Rain (Reagle Music Theatre). He has also appeared in numerous national and regional commercials and movies. WE ARE!

 
Amina Faye

Amina Faye is thrilled to begin her journey at Penn State this fall. Her favorite credits include Sarah in Ragtime and the Baker’s Wife in Into the Woods. Amina would not be where she is today without the love and support of her parents and siblings. She would also like to thank the Penn State faculty for giving her this chance to learn and develop her craft alongside 12 other talented people.

 
Laura Guley

Laura Guley, a Jupiter, Florida, native, is incredibly excited to begin her journey at Penn State. Laura enjoys spending time with her dog, Titan, eating Twizzlers, and watching Guardians of the Galaxy. Some of Laura’s favorite theatre credits include: Anything Goes (Reno), The Glass Menagerie (Laura), and The Wiz (tree). Laura can’t wait to see what’s in store over the next four years and to absorb every slice of information she can get her hands on. WE ARE! 

 
Ty Kunzelman

Ty Kunzelman hails from Pittsburgh, where he attended Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School as a musical theatre major. He performed in numerous high school shows and with Pittsburgh Musical Theater’s student and professional company. Some favorite roles include Paul in A Chorus Line, Chad in All Shook Up, and Cat in the Hat in Seussical. He is excited to start this new chapter of his life at Penn State!

 
Jack LeBouef

Jack LeBoeuf is from Columbus, Ohio, and is excited to begin his freshman year in Happy Valley as a part of the Musical Theatre B.F.A. program. Favorite credits include: Mary Poppins (Bert) and In the Heights (Benny). Jack thanks his friends and family, especially the Wades and his dad, for all of their love and support. WE ARE!

 
Tim Lewis

Tim Lewis hails from the beautiful state of Vermont, where he has appeared as Rapunzel's Prince (Into the Woods), Feuilly (Les Misérables), Tommy Keeler (Annie Get Your Gun), Dickon (The Secret Garden), and The Chairman (The Mystery of Edwin Drood – BroadwayWorld Vermont Award: Best Actor in a Musical). In his free time, he plays ample amounts of Ultimate Frisbee. 

 
Dario Natarelli

Dario Natarelli is a 2016 U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts, YoungArts Winner, and graduate of LaGuardia Arts in New York, with credits including: the Radio City Christmas SpectacularTappin' Thru LifeBreaking Brooklyn, Vail International Dance Festival, and national commercials. He's been an active volunteer with BCEFA and ATDF. Dario is thrilled to join Penn State’s Musical Theatre B.F.A. program. WE ARE!

 
Ariana Notartomaso

Ariana Notartomaso grew up in West Wyoming, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Wyoming Seminary College Preparatory School. Past roles include Romaine Patterson in The Laramie Project, Gavroche in Les Misérables, Tobias Ragg in Sweeney Todd, Edwin Drood in The Mystery of Edwin Drood, and Velma Kelly in Chicago. She has an overwhelming love for arts of all kinds and cannot wait to continue her education at Penn State in the Musical Theatre B.F.A. program.

 
Jessica Ortiz

Jessica Ortiz is from the Pittsburgh area, and is proud to be attending Penn State for musical theatre. She has been an actress at the professional company Pittsburgh Musical Theater for the past four years. Jessica has trained in voice, dance, and acting since the age of 10. Mama was class of ’89, but now WE ARE 2020!

 
Noah Ruebeck

Noah Ruebeck, from Easton, Pennsylvania, graduated from Moravian Academy. Performance highlights include Twelfth Night (Sebastian), My Favorite Year (Benji Stone), Much Ado About Nothing (Claudio), Big Fish (Edward Bloom), and Allentown Civic Theatre’s Young Frankenstein (Igor).  He is an avid dancer, currently with Afro-contemporary ensemble Monarch Dance Company.

 
Caleb Smith

Caleb Smith grew up in Manhattan but his family now lives in Lincoln, Massachusetts. He attended Walnut Hill School for the Arts in Natick, Massachusetts. Some of his favorite roles from high school include Tony in West Side Story and Vanya in Vanya and Sonia.... Caleb is also a composer who has written one full-length musical with his twin sister, and is in process with his second, an adaptation of the Oresteia

 
Daniel Teixeira

 

Daniel Teixeira grew up in Brazil but was born in Miami, Florida, and has spent the past four years studying musical theatre at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts, a boarding school in the United Kingdom. In 2015 Daniel was named a YoungArts Merit Winner in Theater. Some of his most recent roles at Tring Park include Teen Angel in Grease, Nicely-Nicely Johnson in Guys and Dolls, and Cliff Bradshaw in Cabaret.
