Wendell Franklin

Biography

Wendell joined the Penn State Acting Faculty after several years working as a professional actor in New York and regionally. He still works professionally, as time permits, and regularly brings fresh professional and practical approaches to the craft back to his students. His teaching is intensely aimed at inspiring and encouraging his students to find their unique and authentic creative voices. He has worked in several theatres and venues across the Country, including at Sundance Theatre Institute, The Culture Project, The Billie Holiday Theatre, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, La Jolla Playhouse, Huntington Theatre Company, Cleveland Playhouse, Arkansas Rep., and Illinois Shakespeare Festival.
