MFA ACTING IS NOT BEING OFFERED AT THIS TIME. There are no current plans regarding when the program will be brought back. 

What is Penn State looking for in its artists?
Penn State is looking for actors with goals of contributing artistically in our industry that we believe will have a future in a diverse range of performance opportunity; including theatre, television, film & web based media.

Who is eligible to submit for Penn State’s MFA acting program?
Any person with an undergraduate degree or international equivalent is eligible to audition.

What are the submission fees and process?
$30 submission fee required upon completion on Acceptd site per applicant.

When will decisions be made on offers to the acting program?
The School of Theatre will contact all prospective students within 2 weeks following the final callbacks.

Is there a day when I can come visit the campus?
Unfortunately we will not be hosting a visitor day this year. We will only be holding a formal day for those invited for callback auditions.
